I think I might be doing something very immature, well, not doing, but planning on doing.

I’m sure some of you have heard me whine and moan about how I don't like seeing my ex-gf anymore. Well, I’m planning on switching the one class I have with her to something else.

In 14 days, the semester ends, and I’m allowed to change my class. I’ve marked this day in my head like a holy day. But it troubles me.

Is this the right thing to do? Running away from my troubles. I mean, just seeing her every day makes me ache inside. But I know it’s just me, and I should be toughing it up, just like everyone else.

The class I got with her is a sort nature conservation class, and I want to switch to something that’s called life sports, which is like PE. So I’d much rather run my butt off then take the easiest class imaginable. Is this immature? This way, I minimize the amount of time I actually see her. But it still feels like running away, and if anything’s taught me anything, running away is dishonorable.

That’s that.

I have another issue. I’m DOOMED to fail a book report for a war book, the war book is far too thick to read in the 24 hour deadline I got to read it and THEN write a 3 page report on it. I have a -D in that class, that’s a -D I worked very hard for, something that I was passing by a HAIR. Now it’s getting destroyed totally because I forgot to read over my Christmas break.

Hi there

I think its ok to switch classes, if seeing her is painful for you at the mo, and then I suggest getting the new class instead. You can always switch back when you’re ok with seeing her. There’s no need to toughen it out or to think that what you’re doing is running away. About the book, which one is it?
Can you find some sort of review of it somewhere else? Has it been made into a movie? How many pages is it?
