It’s finals week for me in college..

took one today that I just could NOT bring myself to study for whatsoever and I had so much free time to do it but instead I moped around and watched television- woke up with a stomach virus today so I REALLY couldn't study and had to leave the exam early because I felt so sick and I couldn’t answer half of it. (I was thinking it was going to be multiple choice and shocker: it wasn’t!)

I have one tomorrow that I also haven’t studied for and I seem to be accepting of the fact that im most likely going to fail 2 classes this semester.

its going to take me an extra year to finish college- oh when will it all end Sad

I used to be so motivated and hard working when it came to academics(and life in general) but these days I just don’t have the energy/willpower to bring myself to do anything productive. .I is so apathetic about life and a little voice in the back of my head is screaming "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" but I seem to be doing a good job droning it out.

Oh I certainly know how you feel, that is exactly how I am feeling at the moment I have to admit! I know this isn’t any good advice, but I just wanted you to know you’re not alone. Im also thinking, so what if it takes an extra year in college, at least you will have had time to get thru the exams a second time! Im sure you’ll be ok in the end, don’t give up!

Don't worry about taking an extra year to finish college. Nowadays 5 years is acceptable to complete a baccalaureate degree. Have you checked out your student health center on campus? They can help point you in the right direction for your depression. When I was in college, the fall finals were always the hardest. I don't know why other than the upcoming holidays and the loss of sunlight hours.

hey sorry to hear that I get what you mean about not having the energy/willpower. I’m in college and had assignments to hand in before cmas (which cmas is something that gets me down as I hate it) but cant seem to get my mind on the work that has to be done it is always on everything apart from what I am meant to be doing. like you said im too sad to care myself it just gets worse I cant tell you that you will get better soon as I don’t know and I cant say it will get easier because sometimes it doesn’t ever or for a while I don’t no.... I guess we all just live in hope that it will get better and it is really hard when you feel no one understands/cares.
