Well whenever I watch scary or gory movies I am always feeling a lot of anxiety, especially afterwards.
In fact, there have been times (actually... many) that I’ve SCREAMED while watching the movie. Because I get so scared.
For example the other night I was watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning with my boyfriend and I was nearly in tears because I was so scared. |

Everyone feels anxiety from those type movies... It is just a matter of; do I like feeling that way? Some do like feeling scared!
Personally, I do not like such disturbing images in my mind. Especially gore or cruel things like cutting people, torture, etc. |

Scary movies give me nightmares, so I don't watch them. I guess my anxiety is already up there, lol! I don't understand why a person would want to be scared, but people do find them exciting. I don't need it... My life provides enough excitement my itself.
When I was a little kid, my older brother and I would go to the Saturday movie and see Frankenstein and similar movies. He's laugh as I was so afraid to watch the screen. Ever since, I feel the same way. No thanks! I never did get around to watching Texas Chainsaw. Years ago, I lived across from a drive-in and when they played this during the summer, you'd hear all these people scream at the same time every night it was showing, lol! |
