On average how many panic attacks do you have a week?
Lately, I've been keeping a diary of my panic attacks, and noticed that I have anywhere from 5-9 full-blown panic attacks a week.
I'm just trying to get a gauge of how many other people are having, and what they are doing to get thru them. I personally, don't handle mine well, and usually just run off to a secluded place to let it run its course. If I'm stuck somewhere where I can't leave, it just gets worse and I am unable to function.

I have been having about 4 a week, which is way too many for me. I have recently discovered xanax.. which basically cuts off the adrenaline flow.. it has helped me a lot. Sometimes I can take deep breaths and talk myself out of them, but if I cant, I usually end up punching myself, crying, running somewhere etc. I was recently put on seroquel to help with this. I hope it works.
I hope you are receiving some kind of treatment. You are having a lot of them.

I sometimes talk to myself too, kind of like an internal talking. I usually find myself repeating something, and it doesn't seem to help. I’ve tried the whole visualize a stop sign, and that debt therapy. Neither seems to work.
I have recently started to see a np because of this. it was getting extremely difficult to manage. she put me on a mood stabilizer and was talking about either croquet or risperdal... The mood stabilizer has helped with other things, but my panic attacks are not going away. what's your experience with seroquil?
