Last night I told my husband no; he got mad of course and I fell asleep. The next thing I know my pants are off and he is proceeding to have sex with me. I feel really violated and it has brought a lot of past feelings forward. I have told him that it is unacceptable to do this but he did it anyway. I really feel like hurting myself; and I know it won't help to confront him. How do I make these feelings of being violated go away? He is my husband.

I am so sorry. Yes, he is your husband, but still does not have the right to take something unless it is offered. To not be able to trust the one closest to you must be very painful. I agree, that maybe you could take some time away from him. It could give you some time to sort things out and he may realize the seriousness of his actions

I don't dare confront my husband it will just make things worse. As for leaving him; I have no place to go. I am going on vacation for a week without him and maybe I can sort some stuff out in my head. Thank you for all your ideas and suggestions
