ok so a while back when I was in school my teachers thought I had ADHD they sent me for blood tests then to a place to do little tests like puzzles and maths and English’s tests they said it was to test me! (I don’t know how they test you for ADHD) anyway the person who tested me was my counselor at the time. I’m not saying I have ADHD but there is something’s that I cant handle and was wondering is there any chance I could have it?
I do not have concentration at all (its always been an issue and gets me in to bother because I can never do my work at college)
I am to easily distracted (another thing that is an issue and people have always told me that I am)
I acted out in school I don’t know why I never had a reason sometimes it just came and I couldn’t control it!
I always fight or drum my pens of the table I don’t realize until I am told of for doing it because I am distracting others which I stop for a while until I forget and start again which gets me in to more trouble
the reason I am posting is because this year at college is important and I’m coming 19 and am still having these problems! I cant remember anything its a waste of time I can never revise or read anything because I forget it and always have to read it over because it never stays in there. I don’t know if I should say make an app to see my doctor because what if it’s a waste of time and she doesn’t understand! (Sorry I have this thing that doctors etc never understand I know I do but cant help it!) Thanks for reading |

| Maybe you should have a word with your counselor and see if the tests have indicated any kind of a problem. |

| Some symptoms that are identified with ADHD can be common with other disorders as well. An anxiety disorder comes to mind. Also, some medications have side effects than can affect the behavior as well. Also, while you may not of have had adhd in grade school, you might have devolved it in college. I would talk to a counselor so you can get some relief. |

| That does not sound like a proper ADHD test to me. It sounds more like an aptitude/IQ test. Intelligence has nothing to do with ADHD. They need to ask you more about behavior, learning trends, and thought processes. Go to you doctor. Either he or she can diagnose him or herself or refer you to a specialist. |
