Hey
I have been posting problems on the confidence board believing that that is where my problem lies but I now think I am clinically depressed and would like some advice on what to do.
I am considering quitting unit until I can get better because I am unable to make any friends or do any work and I would like these years to be successful.
I have been seeing the university councilor but the sessions aren't really helpful because I don't really have much to talk about as in past traumas. She has however past my details on to a cbt specialist which i am waiting on.
What I am asking really is do you think I should stay at unit until I am better and try and keep up with my social contacts and work or do you think it is wise to take time off and come back to it? |

| I think u should stay at unit and work on you is self at the same time. This way when u graduate and start working u can build your social life. If u leave unit now u might regret it later for wasting time. Try to work on you are contacts at unit too, the key is in separating urn private depression by working with a therapist or counselor from you are social life at unit. Think of it this way, u are a worthy unique person and u deserve to have friends and have fun while in unit. |

| Don't get out of the unit, go to a doctor to prescribe a medicine, if it works for you, it will make your life better by reducing the depression, if you don't want to use your medications, start by improving your life and facing depression symptoms, don't allow depression to ruin your life, I know it is hard to face depression but don't not ever give up, improve your life in every aspect. |
